I’m Rachel Bracken, the owner of Northern Rivers Weddings, and I provide professional On-The-Day Wedding Coordination for couples marrying across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, the Tweed Coast, and the wider Northern Rivers region of NSW.
This service is designed for couples who have planned their wedding themselves and want a calm, experienced professional to manage the logistics so they can be fully present and enjoy their day.
Who This Service Is For
This service is ideal if you are:
Planning a Byron Bay or Northern Rivers wedding from interstate or overseas
Marrying at a private property, hinterland venue, or non-traditional location
Working with multiple boutique suppliers
Wanting to enjoy the lead-up and the day itself without becoming the organiser
If you don’t have an on-the-day coordinator, you become the coordinator.
My role is to remove that responsibility entirely.
When Coordination Begins
On-The-Day Wedding Coordination with Northern Rivers Weddings begins one month prior to your wedding date.
This is the point where planning shifts into execution. From this stage, I step in to manage final logistics, confirm timing, and coordinate suppliers so you are no longer answering questions or making decisions in the final weeks.
What’s Included
One Month Out
From four weeks before your wedding, I act as the central logistics manager for your event.
This includes:
A detailed planning meeting to walk through your entire wedding day
Creation of a comprehensive run sheet
Creation of a bump-in and bump-out schedule
Review of your supplier list
Direct confirmation of final timings with suppliers
Distribution of final schedules to your venue and vendors
You remain responsible for contracts, inclusions, and payments. Once those are locked in, I take over the logistics so you can step back and relax.
On the Wedding Day
Standard coordination includes up to 8 hours of on-site management, covering both ceremony and reception.
On the day, I:
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and venue
Oversee ceremony logistics and vendor arrivals
Manage timing, transitions, and formalities
Quietly resolve issues as they arise
Ensure the day flows smoothly from start to finish
The outcome is simple.
You are not interrupted, pulled aside, or required to manage anything.
What This Service Is (And Is Not)
This is On-The-Day Coordination, not full wedding planning.
It is perfect for couples who have already done the planning and now want professional execution.
By default, this service does not include:
Vendor sourcing or contract negotiation
Full wedding planning or styling design
Physical décor setup or end-of-night pack-down
Additional support can be added where needed.
Investment
On-The-Day Wedding Coordination
From $2,200
This includes coordination commencing one month prior to your wedding and up to 8 hours of on-the-day support.
Final pricing is confirmed once your wedding details and timeline are reviewed.
Optional Add-Ons
Additional services are available to tailor support for your day.
Additional coordination hours: $150 per hour
Morning and pre-ceremony support (up to 2 hours): $350
Ceremony rehearsal coordination: $250
Reception-only coordination: from $1,400
Styling and décor set-up: from $300
Late-night pack-down supervision (coordination only): from $250
Travel outside the Northern Rivers: quoted individually

Bundled Services
On-The-Day Coordination can be booked as a standalone service or bundled with me as your Celebrant and/or MC.
